Ask an islander about the restaurants they loved in the past 30 years and you're starting a great conversation. Sound Foods. Stray Dog. Fork in the Road. Al and Tony's. Mary Martha's. Emily's Cafe. Back Bay Inn. Express Cuisine. They each had their ardent supporters, people who still remember their favorite dishes.

In this class, we're bringing back some of those recipes, with the help of former restaurant owners and cooks. Together, we will be making and eating Express Cuisine's Roasted Garlic and Montrachet toasts; Fork in the Road's Pasqual's Polenta; Salad with Sound Food's Dressing; Stray Dog's Amazon Chicken; and Sandy from the Burton Store's Lemon Icebox Cake. You will feast and walk away with the recipes.
