Do you scramble for dinner every evening, figuring out what to make every night less than an hour before you need? You try to plan a week's worth of meals but you run out of steam by Wednesday?
Let's learn a new way. Shauna Ahern, cookbook author and resident Relish teacher, will show you how, by cooking pork shoulder, a pot of braised beans, and making a caesar dressing on a weekend afternoon, in only a couple of hours you'll have the makings for 11 meals that week.
Together, we will be making: pulled pork tacos; pork ragu for pasta; salad with leftover pork, goat cheese, pomegranate seeds, and harissa dressing; refried beans with breakfast tostadas; white bean soup with kale; sausage, greens, and beans over creamy polenta; polenta fries; shredded red cabbage caesar salad; caesar-marinated roast chicken thighs; caesar roasted vegetables; tuna salad with capers and cornichons in lettuce cups.
