Within the depth of the winter solstice, we find ourselves in the deep quiet of early sunsets. We hold our breath awaiting the light and the promised treasures of spring.
Join us in embracing this time of reflection with this floral class, an Ode to Winter Calm, and share in the joys of creativity, clearing out the old and finding space for the now.
This hands-on class will be taught by Rebecca Raymond, a Vashon floral designer who’s worked and taught locally and internationally. Rebecca is passionate about sharing her craft and invites us to gather, connect, create and give back to our community.
This class includes instructional demonstration, as well as individual assistance with your personal floral creation, drawing from a palette of winter whites and greens. We’ll also enjoy a glass of wine and snacks.
As we build relationships and connect to our community through nature and food, we invite class participants to support our Vashon Island Food Bank by bringing food donations to this class that we’ll distribute to the Food Bank.
