Vegan Holiday Food: Rituals, Blessings and Traditions

It can be especially difficult to follow a plant based diet during the holidays when even vegetable dishes are often made with butter, milk, or eggs. But you don't have to compromise your diet or lifestyle to eat healthy this season. We have a little something for everyone with the irresistible flavors of fall. Vegan or not, the whole family is sure to love this healthy, hearty holiday menu that just happens to be free of any animal products.

We'll start the class with a delicious appetizer of Sprouted Hummus and GF Nut Crackers and then learn how to grow our own sprouts with sprouting jars. Emily will teach us how to make a Lentil Vegiloaf with Gravy, a Warm Salad with Grilled Wild Mushrooms and we'll finish with a Yam Pie with Raw Crust. The raw crust has ultimate pure flavor, much texture and beautiful effects on body, mind, soul, and environment.

We'll finish with Forest Tea, ready to welcome the holidays with new, delicious and meaningful Food Rituals, Blessings and Traditions.
